She began as Olinlio's first attempt at woodcraft: a mermaid girl proudly rocking armpit hair, inspired by The Naked Director. To her, that armpit hair is a symbol of freedom and self-expression, so it stayed exactly where it was.
Mermaid Girl is a bold illustrated accent rug for a bedroom, a studio or just inside the bathroom door. 49" x 37" (125 x 95cm), tufted polyester cut pile with a non-slip rubber backing. She also comes as a beach towel.
