About Us

Pit-A-Pat is a Toronto-based home decor shop founded by Grace and Rachel. We believe that home is our playground to create, where our true self comes out. To create, you don’t need a lot; all you need is a splash of colour and some imagination.

How it started:
In 2021, we each purchased our first homes in Toronto and were looking for fun designs that didn’t conform to traditional aesthetics - but couldn’t find any in the North American market. Having both lived and grown up in Asia, we were deeply immersed in its diverse design language and playful creativity. So, we began collaborating with independent designers across Asia and curating their creations for people here who share the same love for characterful, joy-sparking decor.

These days, we could all use a bit more fun and lightheartedness - that’s why we created Pit-A-Pat: to make home a little more cheerful, one quirky piece at a time.

Pit-A-Pat curates home decor pieces from emerging artists based in Asia. Each artist has a unique personality that shines through the work they do. We collaborate with them and carry the products that most represent their design philosophy and our brand's mission.
